Rosin Grain Black Locust Bowl- 6.3”
One-of-a-kind; only one available. Hand-lathed by a local expert woodworker in Ross Spur. Made from salvaged deadfall Black Locust wood from the Kootenay forest, turned by hand on a lathe, buffed and sealed with food-grade beeswax.
This bowl features a naturally-occurring hole halfway up on one side. The hole was formed by a knot in the wood which was kept true to the wood’s nature in the finished product. Please note that this bowl will not be suitable for liquids due to this unique natural formation in the piece. Please see product picture to visualize the knot in the wood.
Diameter: 6.3”; Height: 2”.
Care Instructions: This bowl is made of natural wood which will swell and/or crack if overexposed to moisture and liquid. Never leave bowl for extended periods filled with liquid. Never place bowl in dishwasher. Always wash bowl by hand and immediately dry and store in a dry place. To extend lifespan of the piece, it may be re-sealed with food-grade beeswax as normal daily use requires.
